CENTRE FOR MANAGEMENT STUDIES
The Centre for Management Studies (CMS), founded in 1982, is an autonomous body (registered society), sponsored by various state public sector undertakings, with the objective to promote the study of management systems through education, training, research and consultancy. It now has long-standing expertise in the field of management training. It is managed by a Board of Governors under the chairmanship of the Principal Secretary to the Government (Training) who is also its Director.
The CMS and HCM RIPA jointly undertake training courses for government/ PSU employees, training modules/ material preparation workshops, training of trainers’ courses and selective research projects.
